Health care facilities present a special challenge to the designer. High-tech (and often ominous looking) diagnostic and treatment tools, the large scale of patient care facilities, and the logistics of processing a large number of patients on a daily basis must be balanced with a healing, comfortable environment. Each of our projects is approached with consideration for the comfort of the patient and family and for the operational needs of the health care professionals.
